LooseLines.ag

Last Updated: December 13, 2022

LooseLines.ag is an old-school offshore sportsbook and casino site that has shifted towards the crypto casino market in recent years.

LooseLines has been around since 2000 – that’s over 20 years in operation, all without a license.

Yes, it’s probably better to choose a licensed operator – but since it’s been around this long, LooseLines must enjoy at least some degree of trust from its community.

It offers anonymous cryptocurrency casino gaming and a sportsbook on both mobile and desktop. However, the sportsbook is definitely the main focus – meaning casino players lose out in some aspects.

Still, there are some fun games and interesting features here. Read on to find out what our expert reviews thought of this veteran cryptocurrency betting and casino site.

Quick facts

  • Gaming license: None
  • Launched: 2000
  • Operated by: Jazz Sports
  • Cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Ethereum
  • Welcome Bonus: No
  • Loyalty program: No
  • Number of game developers: 4

Design and functions

LooseLines offers a relatively up-to-date website with most of the features you’ll want to see at a cryptocurrency casino. We say “relatively” because it’s definitely not as well-designed as some other cryptocurrency casinos, but it’s better than many of the old-school offshore sportsbooks we’ve looked at.

A lot of offshore operators competing with LooseLines have been around for 20+ years, and some of their websites look like they haven’t been updated since then. This is not the case for LooseLines, where you’ll find a fairly modern site design.

The black and green theme is professional and quite standard for an online casino.

The main LooseLines homepage is sportsbook-only, so you’ll need to click through to the casino section at the top.

There, you’ll find a few of the operator’s hand-selected favorite games. The top of the screen holds your account menus and all the other site pages, such as promotions, banking information, and the sportsbook.

You can play all the selected games at LooseLines for free, with fun money, and without registering. This is a nice feature that you don’t get at many online casinos outside of offshore sites.

At the bottom of the page is a footer with all the technical bits, such as customer support and all the various terms and conditions. It uses a dark gray font on a black background, which isn’t ideal – but you can still see it!

LooseLines also works on mobile devices. Just boot up the casino’s site in your mobile browser, and away you go. We actually found the minimal, old-school design worked well with smaller-screen play.

Signing up

When signing up to LooseLines, be sure to find the Anonymous Account option. This is only available to crypto players. Otherwise, you’ll be asked for loads of information, which isn’t common at crypto casinos.

The anonymous sign-up takes seconds. From there, you don’t even need to deposit if you want to try out the games first. Easy!

LooseLines’ game selection

LooseLines boasts a decent selection of some 400 games that covers video slots, old-school fruity slots, virtual blackjack, roulette and baccarat, keno, virtual sports, scratchcard games, and a few more.

The developers here include:

  • BetSoft
  • Tom Horn
  • Endorphina
  • Nucleus Gaming

In terms of filtering and sorting the collection, LooseLines features a few categories – table games, slots, video slots, 3D slots, blackjack, roulette, and other casino games.

The “others” category includes some cool niche games like keno, rummy, and red queen blackjack.

The casino’s highlighted titles during our review included Fruit Zen Sugar Pop 2: Double Dipped, 12 Animals, Lucky 7, Jumbo Joker, Caribbean Royal Stud Poker, and European Roulette.

You can play all the games for free before you jump in with real money, which is a cool feature!

As far as we could see, there was no live casino available during our review. That’s disappointing, as players love live casino titles in the modern market!

Bonuses and promotions

We couldn’t find any active bonuses for casino players during our review. The terms contained some information about casino bonuses, suggesting there was a bonus in the past – and that there may be one in the future.

That’s disappointing and a big negative on the casino side of things at LooseLines.

On the other hand, sportsbook enthusiasts get a whole load of options, covering all sorts of free bets, bonus cash, and betting line adjustments.

There are even special promotions for sporting events featuring free accumulators and full-season bets with big prizes!

Loyalty program

Nope. Nada. Nothing. There’s no official loyalty program for casino or sports betting players as far as we could see during our LooseLines review.

However, the terms do mention VIP managers a few times. So, if you decide this casino is for you and you deposit a lot, the casino will most likely contact you to offer you at least some perks.

Payment methods

LooseLines’ banking system is, to be frank, quite poor. It offers the following range of cryptocurrencies:

  • Bitcoin
  • Bitcoin Cash
  • Litecoin
  • Ethereum
  • Dash

This is a decent list and looks good to start with. However, the minimum deposit (and withdrawal) is $50. That prices out some budget players already – and even other players who like to be careful when testing a new site!

It’s also a lot more than the minimum deposits at your average crypto casinos, which are usually around $10-20 or equivalent.

There’s also a $2 charge on all transactions here, even cryptos. This is something we never like to see.

You can deposit with fiat currencies via VISA or MasterCard. However, both of these platforms are known to have issues with “offshore” casinos like LooseLines – so be aware of that. Probably for this reason, your first debit card deposit here requires a 72-hour waiting period.

So, it’s probably best to stick to crypto!

Despite all that, if you do choose to deposit via crypto at LooseLines, you’ll need to purchase crypto elsewhere first – which is not unusual.

The crypto depositing experience at LooseLines is fast and simple. The deposit should be instant as soon as it’s confirmed by the blockchain.

There’s a minimum withdrawal of $50 or crypto equivalent. You also need to have logged in every day for seven days before you can request a withdrawal. These are terrible terms.

Customer service

LooseLines features a 24/7 live chat, email support, and a decent FAQ section.

The live chat pops up as soon as you visit the site, which is a nice touch. We found the agent to be helpful and efficient in answering our question. There were a few menus to click through before speaking to a person, though!

Unusually for an international crypto casino (and as a testament to the site’s old-school offshore casino attitude), LooseLines actually recommends you give the company a call for support at several points on the site.

We don’t recommend you do that unless it’s as a last resort. This is an international casino, which means that phone call could cost you!

Summary

  • Offers anonymous sportsbook and casino betting
  • Can try any of the casino games for free without an account
  • 400 slots, table games, and more
  • Offshore casino with no real license
  • Small charge on all transactions
  • No casino bonuses

We can’t particularly recommend LooseLines casino. Sportsbook players might find more to enjoy here, with all the bonuses and promotions. But things are a bit light on the ground for casino players.

Add to that the poor terms of the site’s banking section (charges for every transaction?!), and you’ve got a casino that doesn’t offer too much.

Yeah, it has a few hundred games available, some of which are from known developers. And you can play them all for free.

However, other top-tier crypto casinos on our lists offer 4000+ games from the very best developers.

Plus, the lack of licensing and ownership information is off-putting. It all just adds up!

If you really enjoy sportsbook betting and only want to use the casino on the side, you’ll find some enjoyment at LooseLines.

However, for dedicated casino players looking for the best games and (any) casino bonuses, we suggest another site from our top list first!
