Bitcoin Penguin

Last Updated: December 12, 2022

Bitcoin Penguin is a decent-looking cryptocurrency-only casino with a good range of quality games and lots of cryptos to deposit with.

However, Bitcoin Penguin does not hold a license. We also couldn’t find any information on the owner of the casino. This is generally a red flag.

However, Bitcoin Penguin has been operating for 10 years. So, it must have some trust in the international online casino community.

That lack of regulation also means signing up and getting started with games is incredibly easy, with no checks or ID needed. The true crypto casino experience!

But is Bitcoin Penguin worth the risk of playing at a completely unlicensed site? Our crypto casino experts looked into every aspect of this site to find out. From the bonus terms to the customer support and the web design, we checked every detail.

Read on to find out everything you need to know about Bitcoin Penguin casino!

Design and functions

Bitcoin Penguin casino certainly looks the business on the surface.

Its website is well-designed with modern touches and features most of what you would want to see on an online casino homepage.

The blue and orange color scheme is nicely done, and everything is set up conveniently.

The first thing you’ll see when you visit the homepage is the 100% deposit match welcome offer. Below that is a preview of the Bitcoin Penguin game collection.

The search and filter functions here work very well, with loads of options to rearrange and sort the featured games. You can keep clicking to see more and have the whole game collection appear on this homepage if you want!

You can play all the games for free and without an account if you wish. This is always an appreciated feature!

At the bottom of the page is the footer, with helpful and important links like the Terms & Conditions and the support section. It also lists all the game providers again.

Bitcoin Penguin doesn’t do anything massively flashy, but it all works well – and it’s arranged in one convenient place.

The site also works fine on mobile, with no app download or anything else fiddly required. Simply boot up the Bitcoin Penguin site in your mobile browser, and away you go. You’ll get all the same promotions, website features, and games as you would on desktop. Easy!

Bitcoin Penguin’s casino game selection

Considering this is an unlicensed “offshore” casino, Bitcoin Penguin features a decent range of cryptocurrency casino games. There are around 250 titles, which isn’t fantastic – but there’s some excellent quality on offer here.

Too often, these kinds of crypto casinos stick to one or two smaller developers that usually aren’t of great quality.

Bitcoin Penguin has some decent and well-known developers on its books, including:

  • Amatic
  • Belatra
  • Betsoft Gaming
  • Endorphina
  • Ezugi
  • Habanero
  • MrSlotty
  • Nolimit
  • BGaming
  • Vivo Gaming
  • Pragmatic Play Live

If you know even a little bit about online casinos, you should recognize some names from this list!

It may not be the top-tier, globally popular developers like Microgaming, NetEnt, or PlayTech. But there are certainly some respected developers on the books at Bitcoin Penguin.

Just a few of the featured games selected by the casino during our review were Lucky Farm Bonanza, The Angler, Blood Eternal, Remember Gulag, Squid Pot, and Bonus Bunnies.

You can also play any and all of the games here for free with fun money before you decide if you want to play them for real cash! Easy.

In addition to all those slots, Bitcoin Penguin also offers live casino games, virtual casino table games, video poker, craps, lottery, and some Bitcoin-exclusive blockchain games.

That’s not a bad collection, by any means. Bitcoin Penguin has definitely gone for quality over quantity here, and it shows.

Bonuses and promotions

Bitcoin Penguin boasts some decent-looking bonuses. However, we’ll be upfront – the terms are terrible, and you should avoid playing with them.

You can get 100% matched up to 0.1BTC on your first deposit and 25 free spins. Then, you can get 75% matched up to 0.04BTC on your second deposit. The minimum deposit needed to qualify is $20 or crypto equivalent.

Sounds good, right?

However, and this is a big one, there are some truly bad terms when you look into it. Both bonuses carry a 45x playthrough requirement and a maximum cashout win of 0.0016 BTC (or around $30 at mid-2022 prices).

Imagine if you claimed the full 0.1BTC bonus. You’d be playing through thousands of dollars to complete it – only to find you’re allowed a $30 profit at the end?!

Absolutely terrible. One of the worst sets of bonus terms we’ve seen during our many years of experience reviewing crypto casinos. Just don’t bother!

You can also get free spins with your deposits on a Friday and a 20% cashback bonus. However, free spins cashout is capped again at 0.0016 BTC, and the cashback bonus is the same.

There’s also a distinct lack of info on the cashback offer.

So, what’s the point? We can’t see one. Bitcoin Penguin really needs to improve here.

Loyalty program

Nope. None. Zilch. Nada.

There is no loyalty program, points scheme, or rewards system of any kind at Bitcoin Penguin. Disappointing.

Payment methods

Bitcoin Penguin is a crypto-only casino. It offers a decent range of cryptocurrencies to deposit and withdraw with:

  • Bitcoin
  • Litecoin
  • Ethereum
  • Dogecoin
  • BitcoinCash
  • Tether

The minimum deposits at Bitcoin Penguin are tiny – the smallest minimums our team has seen. You can choose to deposit as little as 1 Doge or 0.0001 USDT – about 10 cents at the time of review.

There was no information about maximum withdrawals listed anywhere on the site, even in the T&Cs. The live chat support was not available to answer our question about it at the time we conducted our review.

Yes, there’s a decent number of cryptos. But it’s not amazing. And it’s definitely not enough to make up for the lack of information provided.

Customer service

You’ll often find that even the worst casinos try to at least look like they offer good customer service. 24/7 live chat is standard in the online cryptocurrency casino world.

Does Bitcoin Penguin offer that? No. We contacted Bitcoin Penguin through the live chat during our review, and they just didn’t reply – even after we waited several hours. Very poor.

The site also features an FAQ section. However, it simply repeats the same four questions and answers five times. And one of the answers comes with the same broken link in all five repetitions.

As a customer, you’re supposed to trust the casino fully and expect it will be around to help if something goes wrong. How is that meant to work if they can’t even be bothered to check if their on-site FAQs were written properly?

You’d never catch us doing that. It’s just not a good look. All in all, a very poor showing to cap off what wasn’t a great experience to start with.

Summary

  • Relatively modern website with no documentation needed
  • Decent selection of quality games for an offshore casino
  • Try all games for free with no account
  • No license or owner information available
  • Absolutely garbage bonus terms – one of the worst examples our experts have seen
  • No loyalty program

It’s very hard to recommend Bitcoin Penguin for anything. Except maybe to try out a few games for free – before you choose another, much better crypto casino from our top list.

We’ve reviewed some truly excellent sites. So, we fully suggest you go check them out instead of Bitcoin Penguin.

Yes, the website looks nice on the surface. And yes, there are some very good game developers and titles on board.

However, the casino holds no license. That’s a bad start – not always indefensible, but a bad start nonetheless.

When you add to that the absolute stone-cold rip-off bonus terms and the general lack of info on the site, you start to see why we can’t recommend Bitcoin Penguin in good conscience.

A maximum win of around $30 on a bonus that could take thousands to play through? No thanks.

There’s also a distinct lack of information on various nuts and bolts of how the site works, and the customer support just flat out didn’t respond to our simple question.

Overall, we highly suggest you give Bitcoin Penguin the cold shoulder worthy of Antarctica before heading back to our top list for an alternative.

There, you’ll find a bunch of top-tier, trustworthy, transparent, and fair crypto casinos that are better than this one in almost every way.

Best of luck!
