BetOnline.ag is what is known in the business as an “offshore” casino and sportsbook. It’s been around since 2004, serving customers all over the world, all without a real casino license. However, it has kept a decent reputation during that time – and 17 years is a long time for an online casino!
In the past few years, BetOnline.ag has enthusiastically embraced cryptocurrency gambling.
It has more cryptocurrencies available to deposit with than almost any other crypto casino we’ve seen, plus loads of crypto-exclusive welcome offers.
Sounds good so far. However, what did our team of crypto casino experts think about this long-standing but unlicensed operator?
We looked into every detail and aspect of the site for this review, so read on to find out!

Design and functions
BetOnline.ag’s website has been kept relatively up-to-date, with a clean white and red color scheme. In a nice detail, old-school players can choose to visit the classic website in all its mid-2000s glory!
On the updated homepage, you’ll find the promotions displayed front and center in a banner at the top. Above them, a ribbon menu shows all the different betting categories available. This includes sports betting, live betting, e-sports, the casino, and the poker room.
Click through to the casino section, and the page looks very similar, except you’ll find highlighted casino games underneath instead of the various sports markets. Here, you can click through to see all the games on one page or browse through them on a scroll wheel.
There’s also a filter option where you can head straight to the various game categories in full.
Underneath those are four very brief guides to the different casino game categories. At the bottom of every page is the website footer, with various important links like the rules and the support center.
Being an unlicensed offshore casino, of course, there are no ID checks or documentation required to sign up here. Playing at offshore casinos carries its own risks, but this is usually a big plus point for crypto gamblers!
BetOnline.ag’s game selection
BetOnline.ag offers loads of bonuses, sports markets, and cryptocurrencies, but the game selection isn’t quite as expansive.
There are 300+ games from three different suppliers. This covers:
- Table Games
- Scratchcards and lottery games
- Live casino games
The four suppliers are Betsoft, Nucleus Gaming, Parlay Games, and FreshDeck for live casino games.
Out of those developers, BetSoft is the only notable name.
This isn’t a bad collection by any means. There are some excellent and super-fun games here. However, 300 is definitely a small offering by cryptocurrency casino standards.
The lack of big-name game providers is probably because of the licensing situation. So, don’t expect to see any Microgaming or NetEnt slots added here any time soon.
However, there’s definitely fun to be had in BetOnline.ag’s collection, with a few gems among the lesser-known games and developers.
